The girls have a TON of things. A suggestion might be to get them an "experience" in the form of a gift certificate to the museum or the zoo.
The Denver Museum of Nature and Science has classes that The Bug is interested in attending and would add to her learning. We are already members of the museum and frequent the discovery zone (great area for both of the girls), space, human body, and of course the rotating exhibits.
The Denver Zoo also has classes and The Bug has moved up to the next group of classes so she will be attending some this year. We all know she has a love of animals.
Chinese Checkers Legos, she is into Legos, can't get enough of them. Just a box of the basic legos will make her happy. The Bug is very much into creating her own masterpieces. A Lego Idea book could be a good idea. BOOKS - we have a love hate relationship with books. The Bug loves them and I hate that she doesn't take care of her responsibilites because she is too busy reading. However, I have a really hard time telling her no when it comes to books. We are usually at the library a couple of times a month, but sometimes it is just fun to have your own to read and reread. Currently she is working her way through the Harry Potter Series (she is on book 3). She owns and has read the Magic Treehouse series. The Wayside series could be a fun set. As tempting as it might be we already have ALL of the Ladybug Girl books (and a few duplicates).
