Halloween with Princess Batman

Happy Birthday Pops!!

Halloween was a busy day, parties at school, art club, and Trick or Treating with the neighborhood friends! Safi managed to cram it all in and hung on til the bitter end.

Months ago we were looking through pictures and came across a picture of Princess Batman, "I wanna be that for Halloween Momma!"  Sounds good to me Ladybug, so I started collected the pieces and we came up with a pretty good costume....

After we were all prepped and ready it was time to head over for dinner and fun with the friends.  This was the Ladybugs first time Trick or Treating with friends but she was an old hat.  After pizza and more pictures we bundled up and hit the streets.  Nothing says Halloween in CO like some dropping temps!!

Yes, that is my glassy eyed Princess after a long day of fun.  She fell asleep about 10 minutes after this picture was taken.  Sweet Dreams Princess Batman, Momma and Daddy love you!!

A Day at Los Rios Ranchos

Today after having a wonderful breakfast and spending some quality time with Oma and Opa we headed up to Oak Glen and met up with some of the California C's friends.

This trip was especially meaningful because Kurt and Chris used to come up here when they were little.  Pretty awesome that we are able to keep the tradition going.

We went to Los Rios Ranchos and the kids played and ran around, and just had fun outdoors on a beautiful afternoon!  We were also able to get a few pictures and maybe even a few family pictures taken.

To top off our afternoon we ate delicious apple pie with ice cream.  We even ran into some longtime friends of Oma's, what a wonderful surprise!!

Legoland or Bust!

Today we had an absolute blast at Legoland!!  The weather was perfect, the kids were great, and there weren't any lines, sounds like an awesome equation to me :)

The Ladybug was over the moon because she could ride everything that she wanted to, height was not an issue.  Rollercoasters were her thing and she was going to ride them all!!

We even got to walk through the aquarium that is attached to Legoland.  I did eye the Legoland resort, I'm thinking that we may need to stay there next time, you know just to check things out ;) Last year it was close to being open but not quite yet, we have given them a bit of time to work out the kinks, now maybe they need to experience this family!
