Happy Easter!

Yesterday Safi and I went to the "festival" that was hosted by Avery Ranch.  She had a blast!!  Safi rode around in the train (the little one pulled around by the ride on lawn mower) all by herself, "I big girl Momma!"

We ran into our neighbor and the girls got their faces painted.  Safi was expecting just to have a bunny rabbit painted on her cheek so she kept turning her head for the lady to paint her cheek.  But then finally caught on and started looking directly at the lady and getting this really pissed off look on her face.

One pissed little Bunny Rabbit when she saw what she looked like, not happy, then Kayla got the same thing so it wasn't so bad......

Still not a happy Bunny Rabbit :)

Today was all about the eggs and candy!!! And hiding the eggs again and again and again.......

When Life Gives You Lemons.....

So Safi and I were outside playing after diner and all of a sudden she looks down and says, "Uh Oh." She had an accident.  We were about 10 minutes away from bath, outside, so..... I took her shorts off, sprayed her down with the waterhose and she went "fast down the slide!"  What can you do?

Jules and the Ladybug Play

So today we went over to Jules' house to play. First we went by the library to exchange our books for the week since we missed story time (we went to kidz n play with the mom's group).

I took Benny the Bull with us so Jules an Safi could race on Rody and Benny, they had fun although I don't think that Safi has the idea of forward motion down while riding quite like Jules does.

Playing in the sand, painting on ourselves, running around in the sprinkler, and playing in the playhouse, it was a busy day!!

The girls had a blast, ate a great lunch and a yummy cupcake for desert!!  Can't wait to do it again!!!

Three Wheeling Ladybug

This afternoon I got Safi's tricycle down from the top of the garage.  It has been up there since last summer, Kurt and Jeri got it for her as a birthday present but her little legs just couldn't reach the pedals.  It was causing more angst than happiness so Chris put it up in the top of the garage.

A few inches of growth, and a little more coordination; Safi is set!!  Oh and it makes a perfect place to eat that snack time ice cream cone ;)

The Ladybug Sets Them Free

We have been raising Pink Spotted Ladybugs and Painted Lady Butterflies.  All of the Ladybugs and all of the Butterflies hatched out of their coccons and are ready to be set free.  It has been VERY windy the last couple of days so we have put off setting them free so that they weren't blown away.

I think that Safi got something out of the lesson.  We will continue to do science and immerse Safi in as many opportunties as possible.  Ants are on their way!!!
